About INRIA-MIMOVE & INRIA-SMIS teams

MIMOVE : MiMove's research has a strong focus on mobile distributed systems and
supporting middleware, with special interest in the aspects of emergence and
evolution, very-large-scale mobile sensing, and mobile social crowd-sensing.
Our research results can have an impact on various application domains; we focus
in particular on the application area of smart cities, due to its growing
social, economic and technological interest.

SMIS : SMIS is a core database team which aims to design and validate Secured
and Mobile Information Systems. The research contributions of SMIS focus on data
management techniques for constrained smart objects, access and usage control
models to help individuals to better control the sharing of their data, and
decentralized data management techniques towards privacy-preserving management
of sensitive/personal data.
