Open PhD position on Data Stream Mining

Leibniz University of Hanover / L3S Research Center, Germany.


We are offering one fully-funded PhD position at the Leibniz University of Hanover / L3S Research Center, starting in April or May 2016.

Your research will focus on data stream mining and in particular, data mining model extraction and adaptation over evolving data streams, change detection, evolution monitoring and reasoning.

Applicants should have a strong background in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and data mining / machine learning, excellent programming skills, team work capacity, and ability to meet deadlines.

The salary amounts to German TV-L E13, which is roughly 40.000 to 50.000 Euro gross income per year.
